Finding What Motivates You
Quality questions create a quality life. Successful people ask better
questions, and as a result, they get better answers. Anthony Robbins
1. What makes you happy? what do you look forward to? what do you wish
you did more often?
2. When was the last time you felt really motivated? what happened on
that day?
3. What do you dream about? what do you picture as paradise, bliss?
4. Do any symbols, signs, notes, or quotes really motivate you?
5. Is there any cause that you would do anything for?
6. What would you to give to your children? what gift? what kind of life
do you aspire for them?
7. Who is your role model? does he/she serve as an inspiration? who is
your hero? who was your childhood hero?
8. Does any music motivate you? any movie?
9. Are your goals specific or vague? write down yzaou specific goals,
and stare at them for one hour, while repeating to yourself, why do I
want this goal? why do I want this goal? why do I want this goal?
why do I want this goal? etc
10. Does your goals have a deadline? (do they have a start date?) do
you have a (day by day small tasks) action plan?
11. Do you ever stop to measure your progress on a graph? did it
motivate you?
12. What got you to get out of bed this morning?
13. Are your friends supportive or jealous? what would they do to
motivate you? what motivates them? (if it can motivate them, then maybe
it can motivate you)
14. What are your most significant and unique talents and gifts that you
have?
15. What do you like to do most? What gets your unleashes the creative
side of you?
16. What do you like to do least? What turns you off? what do you hate?
what the opposite of that?
17. If you had no limits, and had a guarantee for success, what would
you be, do, and have?
18. If you were told by a physician that you were likely to suddenly
die within one year, what would you do differently with your life in
the remaining time?
19. Think about times in your life when you were working hard, yet
experiencing great fulfillment. What you were doing? Describe you
actions and feelings.
20. Recall most pleasurable hobbies or interests. What are they and
how might you incorporate these into a new career, your existing career,
or to simply create more of this experience in your life?
21. Imagine that you are now eight years old and looking ahead at
your life with all the imagination and confidence of a child. What
dreams do you want to fulfill?
22. Imagine that you are now eighty years old and looking back over
your life with the wisdom and insight of a sage elder. What pleases
you most about your accomplishments? What do you regret not having done?
23. What would you like people to say about you after you left this
world? what difference did you make in this world?
